'September 24' has never felt so important. This year, the meaning of the Ukrainian Independance Day has become more important than ever.
A large group of Ukrainians gathered in Nijmegen to celebrate their independancy, and to share hope and strength for the future. This was organised together with the group Nijmegen4Ukraine.
But all around the world Ukrainians came together to celebrate this important day. We've received pictures from different cities.
Day by day Ukrainians proof that they are independent and deserve to make own choices and destiny. With the cost of too many lives this year has become a crucial moment in the 31 years of Ukraine independency.
